Pneumatic grips are ideal for testing a wide range of sheet materials including plastic film, tape, paper, textiles, nonwovens, tissue, and adhesives. Air operation makes sample insertion faster and easier than with manual grips and ensures constant, uniform pressure from test to test. A variety of sizes of grip faces are available and can be configured as serrated, diamond serrated, line contact, or rubber covered. Different widths are available for most of the grip models.
All of the grips feature a lightweight design, essential for lower capacity testing, and an open area above the grip large enough for easily loading your sample. Recommended airline pressure is 60 PSI/4.0 bar.
