Designed specifically for compressing expanded cellular materials, the sample platform is perforated and elevated from the frame surface to allow for rapid escape of air during the test. It consists of an upper compression plate (203 mm / 8.0 in diameter) and a lower horizontal platform (381 x 381 mm / 15 x 15 in). Complies with ASTM 3574.
