ST6_2_Compression

ST6 Aluminum Compression Plates

 (6)
Circular compression platens are available in three different diameters and in steel . Steel platens will handle a more concentrated load than aluminum. Diameters available are 50 mm, 100 mm and 150 mm.

ST7 Square Compression Plates

Square Compression Platens, 10 kN (2000 lbf). Ideal for foams, rubber and corrugated, they are recommended for general compression testing where the sample has a large surface area. They provide a 300 mm x 300 mm surface and have guidance marks machined into the surface of the lower platen to assist in centering the sample.

ST-65_Ring_Crush

ST65 Corrugated Board Crush Tester

Corrugated Board Crush Fixture, 5 kN (1000 lbf). Consists of a pair of compression platens with linear guidance used to perform edgewise and flatwise compression tests on corrugated board. A pair of guide blocks are included to hold the sample in place and a ring test accessory is available to hold the sample in a cylinder form.

740_Compression

740-230 Foam Compression Fixture

Foam Compression Fixture, 10 kN (2000 lbf). Consists of an upper compression plate (7.98” dia) and a perforated lower platform that is elevated from the mounting serface to allow for rapid escape of air during the test. Complies with ASTM 3574. Ideal for measuring IFD (indention force deflection) and CFD (compression force deflection)
