Thwing-Albert's Vantage Tensile Tester is very comparable to the Instron 5840 series Tensile Tester
The Vantage Tensile Tester offers many fixtures for tensile testing and other tests for the plastic film, flexible packaging, paper, paperboard, tissue paper, textiles and food testing industries.
With a footprint of 10 in (250 mm) x 16.5 in (419 mm), the EJA Vantage-1 tensile tester provides a force capacity of 1 kN (225 lbs) in a minimal amount of bench space.
Thwing-Albert is proud to announce the introduction of the EJA Vantage 2 (2kN/450 lb) Tensile Tester to the Vantage family, for only slightly more than the EJA Vantage 1 Tensile Tester
The EJA Vantage 2 is the ideal solution for those applications that are slightly over the capacity of the Vantage 1 (1 kN/ 225 lb), but do not require thefull 5kN capacity of the Vantage 5 ( 5kN/1125 lb)....
The Vantage-10 is a dual screw tensile tester frame that provides a force capacity of 10 kN (2000 lbs).
It is available with a crosshead travel of 24 in (610 mm) or 42 in (1067 mm).
Dual precision ball screws and independent ground stainless steel guide rods provide high axial stiffness to ensure the most accurate, repeatable position data available.
The QC-3A 10" Universal Materials Tensile Tester upholds the standards of Thwing-Albert's QC line while adding the functionality of a RS-232 interface, a digital load controller and enhanced software
Ideal for tensile, compression, coefficient of friction and peel analysis, the QC-3A is an extremely flexible, cost-effective tensile tester.
The single-screw frame provides up to 1100 Ibs (5 kN/500kg) tensile force with extremely accurate control throughout the entire load range.
The QC-3A is the ideal unit for a production floor environment as is resistant to dust and displays a peak force reading on the digital display.
The QC-3A 18" Universal Materials Tester upholds the standards of Thwing-Albert's QC line while adding the functionality of a RS-232 interface, a digital load controller and enhanced software
The 18" Model offers more crosshead travel for larger gauge lengths and longer grips.

Thwing-Albert is pleased to announce the introduction of the newly designed, user friendly, FP-2250 COF Friction Tester/Peel Tester. The Friction Tester mode can be configured to measure the static and kinetic coefficient of friction. The Peel Tester mode can test the seal strength, and peel properties of plastic film, paper, paperboard, adhesives, labels and packaging materials. The Peel Tester can be configured to perform 180° peel tests, 90° peel tests, and T-Peel tests.
